How to arrive in the heart of Tuscany

But how to arrive in Valdarno?
The best solution is by car but the area is well connected by train, here’s all the solutions:

There are two exits of the Autostrada del Sole (A1) arriving here:

  1. Valdarno: recommended for those coming from the south (Arezzo, Rome)
  2. Incisa-Reggello: recommended for those coming from the North (Florence, Milan)

With regional fast trains it’s possible have fast links to Florence and Arezzo in about half an hour from the three largest stations located in the middle of the valley and are:

  1. Figline Valdarno
  2. San Giovanni Valdarno
  3. Montevarchi – Terranuova

On the site of Trenitalia there are the complete timetables.

Here below the map of the area with the two highway exits and the three main railway stations between Florence and Arezzo.
